Privacy
What Talebench keeps
Your account: email, name, language, a hash of your password, and when you confirmed your email.
Your workspaces and what is in them: projects, their history, the files you upload, published games, notes from testers.
Sessions: a cookie that keeps you logged in, with the time it was last used, the browser it came from and its IP address.
Logs: requests and errors, without passwords or the contents of your projects; only the newest are kept (100 MB per service).
Where it is kept
On one server rented from manitu GmbH, St. Wendel, Germany, in a nightly backup at (not named yet) (kept for up to six months), and, for the mails we send you, with the mail service Hetzner Online GmbH, Gunzenhausen, Germany.
AI
Only when a workspace switches AI on, and only when someone in it asks for it:
Anthropic receives the passage and what surrounds it when you ask what could happen next.
fal.ai receives the description you wrote and the project’s picture style when you ask for pictures or sounds.
Published games never call an AI.
How long
As long as your account exists. When you delete it, your account and the workspaces only you belong to go at once; their files follow within a week, and the backups within six months.
Download my data, on your account page, gives you everything of yours as files.
Players
A published game keeps its saves in the player’s own browser. Talebench keeps no data about players, apart from errors the game reports (without personal data) and notes a tester chooses to send.
